Bhangra Beats: Round 1 (www.bhangrabeats.org) is a revolutionary new dance exercise DVD that focuses on giving a full body workout while teaching today’s popular Pop-Bhangra steps. Over the years Jay Patel has integrated Bhangra moves with Hip-Hop to develop a high energy workout unlike anything you have seen or done before. In this video you will learn some of the best known Pop-Bhangra moves out there while moving to exhilarating music. For those of you who are new to Bhangra, this DVD includes a separate section dedicated to breaking down each dance move used in the video. It also features two different twenty minute Bhangra exercises. The first exercise features more basic Bhangra moves for beginners, while the second exercise focuses on combination moves. Although this workout is challenging, if done consistently, you will quickly see and feel tremendous results. Not to mention, you will learn some of the hottest dance moves out there.

Hi,

My name is Jay Patel and I am a Dancer and Fitness Instructor in the Washington DC Metro area.  I am originally from New York and went to school in Philadelphia.  I love to play basketball, workout, and dance whenever I can.  I didn't really start dancing until I was in college, and I quickly fell in love with it.  I have spent the last 10 years learning different styles of dance and incorporating my own flavor to it.  My reason for Bhangra Beats is to share with others my passion for my favorite dance form, by systematically breaking down each dance move.  Anyone can learn to dance if they have a teacher that knows how to break things down to easy to understand individual components.  I hope I have been able to successfully translate my experiences and lessons I have learned into a effective product.  Dancing is also probably the most enjoyable form of working out I have ever known.  Hence I have combined the 2 in Bhangra Beats.  Thanks for taking the time to check out my DVD.  I hope it piques your interest and adds value to your life.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
